Booking

  • From and till when can I make a booking?

  • The booking is available from one month before your departure date and by 17:00 of the day before your departure if you book by telephone and by 17:00 of two days before your departure if you book online.

  • Is the service available just for one person? (Minimum number of passengers required)

  • Yes. The service is available even if there's only one passenger but you always need to book it in advance. The service is not available if we receive no booking request. We kindly ask you to remember that it is not a private but shared taxi so there could be other passengers on board with you.

  • Up to how many passengers can I make a booking for?

  • We don't limit the number of passengers you can book the same service for. We arrange multiple vehicles available for the same service according to the number of requests. However, in rare cases we might not be able to accept large number of requests for the same service.

  • How long does it usually take from a plane touching down at Akita Airport to a passenger arriving at the boarding point?

  • It usually takes at least 10 minutes so please consider this time when you book a service.

  • How long does it usually take from a passenger arriving at Akita Airport to getting to the boarding gate?

  • It usually takes at least 25 minutes so please consider this time when you book a service.

  • Can I use the service without booking?

  • No. As a general rule pre-booking is required to use our services. But in some cases it might be possible if we receive booking requests from other passengers and there're still some seats available on board. Please ask our staff for the seats availability at the boarding point.

  • I can't find any service available for my arrival time at the airport. Can I make a request for extra services?

  • Unfortunately, no. Our services are available only at the scheduled times. We kindly ask you to wait at the airport for the next service available or use taxi services, limousine buses, trains or other public transports.

  • I would like to book online but there's no pick-up/drop-off point near my destination. What should I do?

  • Please select the nearest pick-up/drop-off point and specify your destination in a comment. We might be able to make an extra stop for you but please be informed that as a general rule, we make stop at designated pick-up/drop-off points.

  • Is your customer service available on weekend? Do I get a reply by email on weekend as well?

  • We regret to inform you that our customer service is closed on weekends and holidays. We'll reply your enquiry the next working day. For any urgent enquiries, please call the Airportliner service companies directly.

  • I would like to take Nyuto route and make a stopover at Kakunodate to visit Bukeyashiki (Samurai House) before going to Nyuto Hot Springs. How can I book my trip?

  • As Airportliner service is for the passengers transporting to and from Akita Airport, you're basically required to select the airport as your pick-up or drop-off point. If you'd like to make a stopover, please select your final destination and specify your request in a comment.
